Eosinophlic esophagitis (EE) Clinical Trial

The Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) is providing information about an Eosinophlic esophagitis (EE) Clinical Trial as a service to their constituents.

Eosinophlic esophagitis (EE) is a chronic disorder that tends to affect people with allergies. In EE, abnormally large numbers of white blood cells, known as eosinophils, cause inflammation in the esophagus, the tube that carries food from the mouth to the stomach.

The study is being conducted by the Cincinnati Center for Eosinophilic Disorders at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

The purpose of the study is to test the safety and efficacy of intravenous QAX576 in patients with EE, aged 18-50.
