Does anyone know if Wendy's Frosty's are safe for PA kids? I'd love to have a new treat for my daughter.

We prefer Wendy's foods over Burger King and McDonalds. My PA daughter just loves those Frosty's and so far so good, without incident. Another treat she's been enjoying are those Coke Icees at Burger King. Hope this helps!

We eat at Wendy's all the time and my pa son loves their frosty's. The Wendy's in our area does not have any kind of peanut desserts nor do they use peanuts in or on their frosty's. I understand that there could always be the risk of cross contamination before it actually reaches the Wendy's restaurant but we've had no problems there so far! Deanna

After the realization that McDonald's is UNSAFE and posses a high risk from witnessed cross-contamination we have switched to Wendy's. My daughter's loves a plain jr. cheeseburger, fries and especially the frosty! I have read and reread the ingredients and to my knowledge they don't have any peanut products on their menu. Thank God there are one or two places we can go to try to live normal lives!

So, does this mean that Wendy's is SAFE?
Has anyone with PA eaten at Wendy's?

Yes, my son has had their french fries without any problem.
But am I correct in assuming that every individual restaurant should be checked individually?

I have eaten at Wendy's in Canada many times and they do not use peanuts (where I have gone). But as you mentioned, you should always check each restaurant.
Menus can be different in different areas due to regional preferences. So always check.

I have also eaten there many times and have been OK. I eat there about 3 times a week as of late. I asked the people at the restaurant and they said that they didn't use peanuts "any more".
Still, if there's doubt, one can't be too careful.

Oh, I should probably mention that all of the Wendy's that I have eaten at have been in Michigan (except once in Japan, fine also).
The one I eat at a lot now is in the Michigan Union in Ann Arbor, MI.

Hi!
Just wanted to let you know that my Class "6" pa daughter eats their hamburger/cheeseburger kid's meals just fine with no adverse reactions. I felt much safer with Wendy's than McDonald's because they do not sell any items (that I know of) which contain peanuts/tree nut products or byproducts. She is very sensitive, and this is probably the only fast food restaurant that we trust. I hope this helps!!!!
