pChips Ahoy/p
p 4 cup All-Purpose Flourbr /
1 tsp Baking soda (level)br /
2 tsp Salt (level)br /
1 cup Light Brown Sugar (packed)br /
1 cup Granulated Sugarbr /
1 1/2 cup Vegetable Shortening (Crisco)br /
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extractbr /
1 large Egg Whitebr /
2-4 tbsp Water (warm)br /
12 oz Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips/p
p Bring all ingredients to room temperature. Preheat oven to 325/p

I was told by Nabisco that they were *not* made on a dedicated line, but that if there was any possibility for cross contamination, they would be labeled accordingly.
I simply couldn't see how if they weren't made on dedicated lines there wouldn't be at least a potential for cross-contamination.

I am so tired and frustrated by these companies giving us conflicting info!!!! They are either on a dedicated line or not and this should be a very clear response from them. I stopped using Chips Ahoy since they came out with the new flavors. I will make a point to call and question them on this again. I agree with you DRobbins that there seems to be a great chance of cross contamination on this product if produced on shared lines with these new candy blast and peanut butter flavors. Lets see what their answer is and I will post ASAP. Thanks.
