I made the Skor Bar Squares today. They are soooo yummy and easy! However, I don't think I cooked them long enough. Parts are nice and crispy, and other parts are mushy like caramel. Still good though! I want to try the method with the cornflakes also. I also think the crackers would work better if they were broken up first. I will try it that way next time. Thank you all for the great recipes!

Sounds like you may not have cooked it long enough. The whole top should be bubbling. I had only one bad batch and that was with a pan that warped under the heat of the oven so it kinda did a landslide! Other than that, it's been good. I've also done it with Graham Crackers instead of the saltines and it's good, but I do breakup the Graham Crackers they are a bit thicker and harder to break up afterwards. If you cook it long enough though, it should break apart just like "brittle".

I wouldn't recommend keeping them out in the heat - your fingers will be really sticky - but then again - if you're already eating ribs then who cares [img]http://uumor.pair.com/nutalle2/peanutallergy/smile.gif[/img] they'll be sticky anyway!
