Hot dogs

We've used the Louis Rich hot dogs (made with turkey and chicken) for years and have had no problem. I did check it out with the manufacturer when we first started eating them and was told they were peanut/nut free. Hope this helps!

I have always used Oscar Mayer weiners with no problems.

We have used Oscar Meyer all beef hot dogs with no problem.

We use Healthy Choice hot dogs. When I called to ask about peanut ingredients in their flavorings, they told me that because it is meat, they are required to list it. As I write this, I'm a little confused by what her exact words were, but I remember feeling satisfied at the time and we have never had any problems with them.

We use eckrich hot dogs (almost every day) and have never had a problem. I called eckrich and they said they don't make anything with any peanuts or tree nuts. The buns are what I worry about.

We use Best and Ball Park hot dogs with no problems.

I've been using Oscar Mayer lately - I used to use Hebrew National, but the only store in my area that was carrying it stopped carrying it. But we've had no problems with Oscar Mayer.

Ditto on Oscar Meyer--we get the all beef kind.

I forgot to add that my son has done well with Ideal brand buns.

Does anyone with dairy allergies also have any recommended brands? It sounds like most of the brands are OK for peanut allegies. Most of the brands in my store list natural ingredients in the label. Could that be dairy? A long time ago I called Oscar Meyer and they said they used shared lines for all their meats. They make a cheese-filled hot dog. I have not given my son any of their products.
