My niece with PA had a reaction to a Dole Strawberry Banana smoothie. The dr is doing testing to see if she has other food allergies, but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem with the same product. (My daughter also has PA.)

Just a couple of questions…. First has your daughter had Stawberries and Banana's before or was this the first time? What was the reaction? If it was just itchy mouth.. it could be oral allergy syndrome instead?

She has eaten both bananas and strawberries before with no problems. She had rash/itching and coughing. She has PA and egg. This was actually my niece. She is going to have scratch test done next week, but I wondered about it being a peanut reaction.
