Yes. My daughter is severely allergic to peanuts/tree nuts. We eat microwave popcorn all the time. I get it at Aldi. Just be sure to read the label every time you purchase it because sometimes the product in the package changes and the label changes as well.

I spoke with Orville Reddenbacher (not the man himself) :) some time ago who told me they would label for cross-contamination,so i trust their labeling. We have eaten lots of popcorn with no issues. Just be aware that many movie theaters and some ready-to-eat popcorn uses peanut oil.

Hi My son has Peanut and Shellfish allergies…. We eat Microwave popcorn quite a bit. I use Pop Secret. As Usual, just check the labels…. To be sure since things can be processed in different factories in different parts of the country.

We have eaten Orville Redenbacker Natural Microwave Popcorn for years with no issues. If you go online, there are many recipes for homemade microwave popcorn using popcorn kernels popped in a brown paper bag in the microwave. I haven't tried them but I hear you can customize the recipe using different oils like olive and different seasonings like chili powder, garlic powder, etc.
