Hello everyone,

My daughter will be starting Kindergarten this fall so I'm beginning the 504 plan process.

I have an appt. with our allergist this Tuesday (1/29), and an informal tour of the school DD will be attending this fall with the Principal.

I don't want to get off on the wrong foot with either of these people, and I'm a bit intimidated at the thought of starting this whole process.

I'd appreciate any advice or guidance you might have on 504 plans, letters, etc. Thank you so much!

Please disregard this post (I tried to delete but couldn't). I've just found a post titled:
Why NOT obtaining Section 504 for your child is a DISSERVICE to your child
which is the single most helpful bit of information I have ever found on this subject! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed!
