I thought I may have read about this somewhere. Can't seem to figure out where. But a few of us in town were thinking of forming a sort of "Allergy Moms Lunch Monitor Volunteer" where allergy parents could take turns looking out for the food allergic kids at lunch. Making sure peanut butter eating kids wash their hands. Looking out for reactions. It can't be an original idea. Anybody ever heard of such a thing? Or try it?

I am the food monitor at our school. I check lunches for students who want to sit at the allergen free table (with the help of trained staff), and I am there in case of an allergic reaction.
How does it work there? Are you the only monitor? If you don't mind me asking, how many kids sit at the allergy table? I appreciate any info you can provide!
