My sister lives up in your area, and I know you have different grocery stores than in the Twin Cities area. You don't have a Rainbow Foods around, do you? That's where I've found Dare cookies. Sunbutter is made up in your area, so I'd think that would be available.

tkmom: I am from central minnesota. No Rainbow foods. However, sunbutter is available. Let me know of other products you are looking for and I will help you out if I can.

I am from eastern north dakota. i find sunbutter at hugos its the local grocery here. Never have found the DARE products have ordered them online. any questions email me thanks

Hi, I am from central Minnesota. I found Soybutter at Wal-Mart and Sunbutter at Cub Foods.
Cub foods also has a lot of safe things I get there. I buy Home Run Pizza, most of the bread has a warning on the package, the FF I get have a warning on them. Wal-Mart usually has these things too.
I have also found Dare products at Wal-Mart, but haven't looked for them lately.
Thomas Bagels also have a warning on them now.
What are you looking for exactly?

Just wanted to say that we are in the Twin Cities area. I'm afraid I might not have much to add at this point, though; we're new to this and still learning what brands to trust, etc. I had seen websites for the two support groups in MN (that I'm aware of), but I see that someone posted links to their sites above. I wish you luck!

Come on up to Canada, eh?! Winnipeg is just 1 hour north of the border directly north of Grand Forks. We go to Grand Forks (3 hours), Fargo (4 hours) & Minneapolis (8 hours) all the time to go shopping - try coming up here and taking a load back with you. We have all kinds of snacks, cookies, crackers, ice cream novelties and ice creams, chocolate bars, etc., etc. I used to go to the US for low carb stuff that we can't get here and there is no duty or extra charges for groceries - just can't take meat or dairy across the border.

My sister recently told me that she'd tried a Nestle Aero bar that one of her friends gave her. They'd found them at a gas station in the Fargo-Moorhead area, but she didn't know which one. So that's something to keep your eyes open for. Do check the label, as always.
Do you have a Wal-Mart Supercenter around? They have Philly Swirl popsicles and ice cups. They're labeled peanut-free, and my kids love them.
