Thank you for posting this information. I will be buying the magazine today and adding the article to my ever growing folder(s) on Peanut Allergy.
I am also glad to hear it is in Child magazine. This magazine is always in the waiting room of pediatrician's and OB/GYN offices. Great mag to spread the word on this allergy.

Stay Safe.
Here is the letter I just emailed Child:
Dear Sirs,
In the article "Allergy Nation", I was quoted as saying that I am against peanut free tables in schools. This is ENTIRELY incorrect, and I stated this to the fact checker who called me, I would appreciate a retraction or a correction.
I am in fact not only in favor of peanut free tables, but also peanut- free schools. While some may think we parents who deal with food allergies as our reality are overbearing or fearful, the reality is peanuts can kill my child, just as surely as guns can kill my child. Any parent who has witnessed their child going into anaphylaxis will tell you, death is a real possibility. I would gladly risk being seen in a poor light by those who don't get it than risk the death of my child.
Thank you for bringing information on this misunderstood epidemic to your readers, the more people know the facts, hopefully the more understanding they will be, and in turn willing to take measures to protect children like my son
Did you get the magazine already?
I was interviewed as well and was told it would be out March 12 or 13th?
Thanks,
Gina
