And NOW would you like to share just exactly what kind of coffee you have been drinking??!
Unbelievable list.
I dare anyone to just copy & paste THAT list into an e-mail sent to accommodation-balking school-district-officials . . .

Just hit on this today while doing a bit of searching. Fairly recent & from attorney's perspective. Happens to mention & link pa.com. This may be posted elsewhere here, but I'd not seen it (sorry if dup):

Hi Chanda,
I know you're going through a lot, but I hope that's just wishful thinking and said in jest. Please don't do that. I have found that quality and focus is more important than quantity in dealing with school administration. You're not trying to get their eyes to glaze over, you're trying to educate them so they will modify their behavior.
Sometimes people need info in more manageable chunks so that they can process it more fully (assuming there is a desire to learn).
Anyway, I can appreciate your frustration, and I'm sure you'd like to whack them over the head with this stack of documents.
Hope that things turn around for you. Stay strong...

I found this link to add to the list. The link to this guide was found on the Illinois Association for School Nurses website.
It mentions allergies and asthma as being two chronic illness, states that it requires 'comprehensive, coordinated, and systematic approach.' Also mentions 504 and the need to be in compliance...amongst everything else you would want it to say.

Hi Lilpig,
I wanted to let you know that this link can also be found on the FAAN site. If you click on schools and camps and then go down to almost to the bottom of the page you'll see a link for chronic illness, click that and it will bring you to the National Heart Lung and blood institute. Click the pdf and it pops up. It might be more helpful since it's a link right on FAAN's site.
