For those of you dealing with milk allergies does a baby cereal exist without skim milk powder or other milk ingredients?

My sister's baby (6 mos) got hives after rice cereal, for now my sister is suspecting milk as the culprit. She sees an allergist in June.

Beech Nut Oatmeal and Rice Cereals don't contain any milk or soy. This was the only brand we could use for DD who is dairy, egg, and (possibly) soy allergic.

Gerber, organic, whole grain rice cereal & oatmeal are dairy free. There is an ingredent called tri-and dicalcium phosphate in it that was questionable. I called Gerber's 800 # and they told me that these are neither are dairy ingredents. Hopefully this helps!

Both my kids used Gerber Oatmeal as infants. They were both allergic to milk at the time.

I know it is unusual but could rice be the allergen? My daughter is allergic to rice (plus several other foods) so you might want to have the allergist test for that. My daughter's doctor and allergist both didn't believe it was a rice allergy at first. I had to bring it up multiple times before they would test for it.
It is unusual to be allergic to it, but it is possible. I hope you all figure it out quickly.
