We are off to Darien Lake, NY in August. We are renting one of their RV trailers for two nights. I am already planning on scrubbing it down and bringing all our own stuff and food.
Anybody been? Any tips, suggestions?
Thanks Chrissy

We live in Ontario and have been to Darien Lake almost every year for the last 7 years.
I have a PA/TNA 12 year old son.
We have never had any problems at all.
We have eaten in almost every restuarant on the grounds and many of the fast food outlets.
We always tell our server about the allergy and they have been very accomodating.
I still check ingredients on everything he eats and ask about which type of oil things are fried in.
There is an ice cream shoppe that has loose peanuts on the counter
We have always been very pleased at how clean the grounds are and our kids love it there.
I have been to Darien Lake with my PA son twice. We did not stay in the RVs, we stayed in the lodge. It was a good experience with one exception. We ate at the Beaver Brothers Lakeside Caf

We go to Darien Lake every year, and we always bring in our food. They don't ask if we bring it, and they don't really look too hard in the bags, so it's never been a problem. If it is a problem or you don't want to risk it, just leave your food in a cooler in your car.
We have never had any sort of problems there, either. I hope you have a great time!
