I thought we could make a list of safe halloween candy. I know it is still only September but I love Halloween!
Tootsie Rolls
Tootsie Pops
Dum Dums
Saf-T-Pops
Jolly Ranchers (some of the suckers have peanut warning.
Smarties (like sweet tarts)
Sweet Tarts
Mike n Ikes
Blo pops
Peeps (pumpkins)
Kissables (if no shea listed)
Nerds
Hersheys (regular size) Do they make any special ones for Halloween like the Christmas and Easter ones?
Candy Corn (my friend found Blueberry Hills at Big Lots)
Just a few that I can think of right now! Can anyone add more?
I saw in the Halloween candy section today at Hannaford a package of gummy-type fruit things made by Florida's natural.
The said on the front of the package "gluten free", "nut-free", "dairy free", among many other things. They were in about a package of 25 packets for $4.99, citrus flavored. Another nice option.
On the Dum Dums note you want to make sure they are the original ones...there were some last year (and I saw them again this year ...maybe Target?) that are made in Brazil with chewy centers and have a "nut warning" on them...Dum Dum's previously also advised me NOT to use those.
How do you feel about Willy Wonka brands (division of Hershey's)?

Hershey's makes a ghost shape chocolate bar this year in purple wrapping that is safe. I bought a few already. No warnings.
Willy Wonka I think their nerds are safe and I don't remember which other candy is safe. Anyone else use Willy Wonka?
dgood can I ask where you found these? I am very excited about them.
I just saw someone post that kisses now have shea! Has anyone heard this? If this is true what a travesty that will be!!! One of my babies absolute favorite candies in the world!
I found some halloween pretzels today at walmart. They are very cute halloween shapes it actually states on the bags made in a peanut/tree nut free facility.
Also, found mini halloween fruit roll ups and the charlie brown fruit snacks.
Now or Laters (did say something about egg)
Sugar Daddy
Sugar babies (Both of these said could come in contact with egg)

I called Hershey's, that is not true. There
are some new kisses out for Halloween that are candy corn flavor, *thise* have shea, the regular chocolate ones do not.
I'd like to know where to find the Hershey ghosts too - I buy the santas and bunnies every year, have never seen the ghosts! I looked in K0Mart and target which is where I usually find the others but didn't see them.
Is the Willy Wonka company a Hershey's or Nestle. I thought they were nestle, but I could be wrong.
pretty sure they are nestle. some of their products have peanut warning.
