when I was told about my DD MFA I like you did not understand a thing about the numbers. As a matter of fact I still don't ,But what I can tell you is avoidence is the key here. Did your Dr give you epi-pens and explain to you when to use it and to carry it with you at all times. Has your DS every had a reaction before? If you are not comfortable with what has been said to you get another opinion. This is what I did .
My understanding is that you can test allergic to things but you may not react. Since he eats dairy etc without problems that's probably why they said you don't need to avoid it.
Oh my son is 0.82 for PN and I was told that is moderate. I don't really think the numbers mean much though, it's just a way to track the allergy.
Yes, focus on the positive. No new allergies is good and outgrowing egg and milk is great.
I still remain hopeful ds will outgrow nuts...ya never know!!!
I'll be sticking around too. Here's to next year's rast being negative.
