My daughters school is having a field trip to McDonalds for breakfast. They offer a happy meal with pancakes. I checked on their website and it looks as it would be ok, has anyone tried them before?
Thanks!

Edited to add: I think I remember reading that the icecream cone is ok there, is that correct? It says ok on their website.
Thanks again.

Are you in the US or canada? We are in the US and our local McD's is lousy at keeping the flurry toppings cleaned up. They have no clue about allergies or cross contamination and the toppings are all over the counters so we don't go there at all.

I've heavily relied on McDonald's for safe breakfasts over the years. In fact, I ate at one every day I was in Dublin, Ireland on a business trip.
In the US, I have only ever had egg mcmuffins (with bacon instead of ham -- yum!). That's also what I've eaten in Ireland, Scotland, and England.
In Canada, I have also had their breakfast burritos, which are quite good too. When I ventured away from my "usual" choice, I mentioned my allergies to the girl at taking my order and she told me that all their breakfast items were safe for me -- and she said she was sure because her mom had developed a peanut allergy in the past year so she was really conscious of that. So, if you're in Canada, I'd assume the pancakes are a-ok.
To be safest, one idea would be to stop in at the McDonald's they will be going to and talk to the manager.

My son eats there often. He likes the sausage McGriddles.

I eat there quite a bit.
I really like Sausage McMuffins (no egg for me!), Hashbrowns and the breakfast buritos.
When I get ice cream there I get a caramel sundae, NO NUTS.

My son has had the pancakes and sausages without a problem. However, he often wants instead just a hash brown and orange drink.
Oh, he has also had the yogart parfait (with berries and granola topping) and loves this.
