I don't feel confident that I'll get the answer I want but are they milk free as well? I would make plans to travel to BC for those if so! We'd love more milk, egg, nut/peanut free shelf stable options!

I picked up two flavors at our Safeway today - Apple Crumble & Rocky Road! AND they were on sale buy one get one free which helps cause they're $3.89/box of 8. There is a HUGE red banner across the whole front of the box stating peanut free. Love It!
Sorry Jana - both boxes I got say contains milk ingredients.
wow.. this is great!
so I can finally eat Quaker granola bars! so glad that so many companies have decided to go offer nut-free/peanut-free products!

Chris:
We do our best to provide accurate information so that you can make informed choices about the products you purchase.
Our allergen policy at The Quaker Oats Company states that any of our food products that contain the most commonly allergenic foods (peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, egg, wheat, milk and soy) will include these allergens in the ingredient statement.
We have implemented a program that highlights any of these allergens from the ingredient list in a 'contains' statement in consumer friendly language to assist all consumers in identifying products containing known allergens. Furthermore, if we feel that the product poses a potential health risk from incidental exposure to these top 8 allergens, we will put a precautionary statement (may contain) on the label. Therefore, we suggest you carefully review the ingredients listed on all product labels if there is anything in particular you wish to avoid in your diet.
Our ingredient suppliers provide information according to the requirements of federal law and Quaker criteria. Unfortunately, the federal labeling laws are not designed to indicate the presence of sesame oil or seeds. For example, "Natural flavor" ingredients may be made from sesame oil or seeds, but the supplier is not required to disclose it to us.
We apologize that all of the information you requested is not available. We thank you for your interest in our products and hope this information is helpful.

Quaker Consumer Response
I found one flavour out of maybe five or six flavours yesterday in the store that was "safe". LOVE the "peanut free" logo on the front - so big and bold. It must have been the apple like everyone else has found so far in Canada.
My daughter asked if one other kind was going to become safe as well because she absolutely loves that flavour (has been trading food at school - believe me, I am NOT pleased).
My guy just kinda looked at them and I know it's another one of those things that certainly we'll like to have in our home (my daughter and I) and knowing Jesse, I mean, Jesse being Jesse, he won't like them.
But no, GREAT packaging. I figure once they sell out the other flavours, all of the new ones should be on the shelf. I'll keep looking. Not a bad price either. Forget how many per box, but priced at $2.49.
Best wishes!

All I can find so far are the apple ones - which DD won't eat. Hopefuly the other flavours show up in my stores soon.
I have found Apple Crumble, Rocky Road and S'more at the SuperCentres. The other stores (A&P, NoFrills) only had the Apple so far. DS likes them all, so do I
