They have some peanut free ice cream cakes at Friendly's Restaurants. The label says contains milk soy and wheat. I was amazed. They have a fudge roll and dinasaur dig. Really cute. The party roll has a warning because of the chocolate chips being on same equipment with peanuts. I spoke with the manager and he said the company is very allergy aware! I have the fudge roll in the freezer right now. I have not called yet but I plan too.

do they label for cross contamination? it sounds like the cake just doesnt have nuts in it but is probably made on the same equipment with nuts or peanut butter? am i wrong?
I just called and spoke with Tish at Friendlys corp. She said that it is shared lines, but they break down the lines between runs and they do make products with peanuts and peanut swirl in the ice cream. He eats chocolate and vanilla byers, dyers and pet to name a few. Don't all ice creams manuf. have peanut butter flavors? She said that lots of people eat this with the peanut allergy, but of course it would be my decision.
yes i think most manufacturers just clean betweeen runs. some test for protein some dont.
