I just went online to order them for DD---would have done it except that they charge $16.00 for shipping! YIKES!!! That is a little expensive! So, the bag of yummy safe chocolate plus shipping would be $34!!! Wish it wasn't so much $$ to ship to USA, or I would order it!

It is so worth it though. I order them every year. It is a huge box of candy!
I was looking at these today online and noticed that Canadian Sweets offers 100 of them for $18.99 (not sure if it is a box or a bag) and Panhandle offers a box of 120 for $27.95.
Does anyone know the difference between these two? The Canadian Sweets obviously looks like the better deal, but it has their name on it (in the picture online) so I was wondering if they package it themselves and thus it may not be as safe as the box from Panhandle that looks like it is packaged right at Nestle.
I don't think Nestle would allow them to repackage. If the CanadianSweets name is not just a sticker, then they probably pay Nestle to use that packaging.
I'd also suggest checking the shipping charge at Panhandle. If it's a lot cheaper there, it might work out a comparable price.

the box in the picture states "peanut free". how can you tell they are nut free? (I just might order some.)
The Nestle plant that the peanut-free bars are made in is both peanut and nut free. However, there is currently no test to test for all nut proteins. Therefore, they only say *peanut-free*.
