I saw parts of the news conference that "outed" Miss USA. Got the feeling Trump was missing some of the coverage "The Apprentice" brought to him. Like he was feeling left out of the media given more important news like the war in Iraq.
Sure, he provided jobs - how many companies had to lay people off because he defaulted on loans when filing bankruptcy? How many companies went under when counting on the "Trump" because he can do "no wrong"? May as well call me sad and bitter, I feel the same way about Trump's "moral compass." Rosie and her girlfriend/wife have a loving relationship and have opened up their home to several children. Donald Trump has broken up two families (and despite the smiles you may see in the tabloid pictures) has messed with the lives of 4 children. Now he has a fifth child...how long before he decides Melania isn't enough and leads his life with his lower brain?
MADD made a point as well, they pulled their sponsorship of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA in a much more dignified way IMO

Um.....you believe Melania expects her role as Wife #3 to Trumpster is final? Is expecting deep committment from him? Well, you know, emotional committment. But a woman who puts her baby in a gold pram and wears taffeta while holding an infant?
Alrighty then.

they severed ties with Miss Teen USA. Miss Teen USA was seen partying with Miss USA apparently and MADD did not want to seem to condone that behavior. perfectly justified for THEIR organization.
trump's forgiving Miss USA perfectly justified for HIS organization (so, again, what's rosie's mouthing-off about?)>

Obviously I saw it too, as my post in off topic.
I know most people don't like Rosie, but usually I like her. I don't usually watch the view either, but I was sitting here, just listening to the show not really watching it, and I couldn't believe me ears.
Well I showed the letter in my post of what I wrote to Rosie. Maybe one of us can get on the show and explain why it is so important to be protective of our children.

I too felt it might be helpful to write to Rosie ,I feel like my daughter is living on borrowed time , she has to wear an epi pen at school, for someone to make light of this topic is so discouraging, she's a mother she should put herself in the shoes of others.
Everyone deserves to be safe at school.

i for one LOVE rosie. i did not see the show in question here but i would certainly have been surprised. she is someone is consider to be a) a totally wonderful, child-oriented person who adores all children and b) someone who is opposed to discrimination and situations that are unfair; especially considering all that she's been through.
i think it would be good to let her understand the flip side of PA (our side) and then see if she feels differently. i'm guessing she would. i could be wrong, but i doubt it.
i like the view. i think it's even more fun now that she's on it. i'm hoping people won't give her a hard time. (she's gonna have to improve her stance on food allergies though. haha)!

i was just thinking...maybe it was just humor....even here at my house with as much thought and seriousness as we place on PA, we would say something like "let's go into lockdown mode, we've seen a peanut!" we would find that hysterically funny. maybe she meant it purely as comedy???? probably not, but i would give her the benefit of the doubt. even if she did mean that schools took PA too seriously, maybe we can win her over to our side.
