I just called this company to check if their product is peanut and sesame seed safe. It is.
They sell both sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.
The woman that I spoke with said they have a new product (not yet on their web-site) which is shelled seeds mixed with other stuff - it is NOT safe. It is produced in a different city, so it will not affect their original products.

I did call spitz. The pumpkin and sunflower seeds are peanut/nut/sesame safe.
Only the sunflower seeds in the shell though. They also sell some that are shelled, but the plant that shells them mixes some with nuts/peanuts. It's in a different city then the packages in the shell.
The flavoured ones are safe too (although I perfer the salted myself).
hi. did you ask about tree nuts? just wondering. my sister loves sunflower seeds and i would like to give her a safe one to use.
We use the GIANTS brand of sunflower seeds. It says right on the package in big letters "Not processed in a facility that has peanuts". They are hard to find. I have only found them in a couple gas stations. They are really tasty.
They do, however, have a soy warning.

tidina, sorry should have posted more accurately. They are also nut safe.
And, the csr that I spoke to has a pa child - so she does understand about cross contamination.
