Are these restaurants safe as far as pizza goes?
My DD has a classmate who will be bringing in pizza for entire class to celebrate birthday and the mom said it will be from either of these resturants.
I checked the websites - Dominoes appears safe, Pizza Hut states peanuts and tree nuts may be used in some stores, but yet the chart dosen't indicate it uses these on shared equipment.
What would you do?

i can't say for certain but we use both pizza hut and dominoes and we also eat pizza inn pizza. never had any problems and, as far as i know, they are safe. they are within my comfort zone for my PA girls.
We've used both dominos and pizza hut frequently. I've spoken to regional distributors in the past for dominos to insure their safety. I usually ask about the spray they are using in the pans to make sure it is not peanut oil, at least the first time we try a new location.
We met a teenage PA waitress at our old pizza hut location! That was reassuring...she'd had anaphylaxis previously and assured us she would not be able to work there if it wasn't safe. Of course that was about 2 years ago...and cross contamination wouldn't appear in every pizza so of course use your own judgement.

We use Pizza Hut and Dominos frequently and have never had a problem. It was my impression that Pizza Hut always used veg oil? If anyone knows of Pizza Hut being unsafe/using peanut oil--please let me know...
Pizza hut is supposed to use veg oil spray in the pans...I think it is soybean. However, I have read here to double check on things like this as this is something they could easily choose not to purchase from their supplier and pick up at the store...It's never happened to us but I think I've read here it has happened to some and it's happened to us at another fast food restaurant.

Thanks everyone!
Did anyone ever find out if the new brownies at Dominos are a problem with x-c? We've been choosing other pizza until I can make a time to call them to be sure.
