The quaker chewy granola bars at walmart all have a may contain label. They also sold peanut butter flavored ones. This is in the US. I suspect this is only going to be a Canadian thing.

Found the apple ones at my A&P in Ottawa last night. Big red Peanut free label and each individual bar is also labeled. The back of the box shows they will be bringing out 6 flavours, and the box ad notes "lunch box friendly".
My daughter was thrilled and is taking one to school to show the other PA girl there and one to gymnastics to show the other PA gymnast. They are also egg free, so safe for our house.
Hooray!

Just wanted to let you know that there are still the old boxes on the shelves that have a may contain warning. The new boxes have a big red banner that says peanut free.

That's great news! Now, if only the US would follow you Canadaians, we'd all be happy and safe!!
Im guessing, Canadaian ONLY.
AFAIK, the Quaker graonla bars (10 pk/box) STILL have the PB versions.
When I bought the boxes last yr, Id opoen it up and grab the 2 PB ones for work.
It's been a yr though... and Sara doesnt like the other ones anymore, so they are al out, I guess

went to their website and they still list lots of peanut butter and butterfinger flavors. said nothing about new peanut free label or anything. i emailed them.
I found the apple crumble flavor at Walmart in Montreal, Quebec yesterday. The box has a huge red banner at the bottom with a "peanut-free" label on it and also a picture of a peanut with a red line across the peanut, which my kids get very excited about when they see!!
The other flavors will be out at the end of April and we can't wait to try them all. Very exciting to have a real granola bar to eat. These are great tasting too.
called number for US. the guy i spoke to has no idea if they are going to make a nut free facility. he told me they label for allergens and i told him that my son cant eat any of their granola bars!
