Yes, I seriously doubt that PA people can eat the US version. None of Nestle's chocolates are safe here.

Nestle USA does not know how to make Coffee Crisp bars, so my guess is that they will just import them from Canada.
Or at least I hope they will import them from Canada.

What is sheanut? Is it a treenut? I never heard of it before, please forgive me!
Timmy's Mom, can't really answer your question. Some members believe sheanut is a tree nut and other's believe it is a tree fruit. There has been much discussion on the board about it, going back years. There was discussion last week where the response from FAAN was re-raised.

I called them tonight and they told me that while the product itself wouldn't contain, we have to read each wrapper to determine whether or not they are cross-contaminated. *Sigh* It doesn't sound as thought they are planning to make them on dedicated lines.
We'll have to wait and see. Have there been any local sightings yet?

I'm betting that if they are going to be manufactured in the US, then they will have palm oil instead of shea oil as Nestle USA using palm and palm kernel oil, not shea oil (like the Canadian counterpart).
