PA and TNA----dd had her first obvious reaction at age 3 (over 2 years ago). We were told to just avoid nuts for a while. She wasn't diagnosed by an allergist until age 4. (It's been 1 year and 3 months since she was diagnosed)
So take your pick----one or two years depending on how you look at it!
Mariah's first big (i.e. anaphylactic) reaction occured before her first birthday. . . she'll be 13 soon. So 12 years. (Feeling very old suddenly. . . )
8 years. DD had mild reaction at @18 mos and 1st anaphylactic reaction at 2.
Shane diagnosed before 1st b'day. He his now 13. 12+ years....
Diagnosis was just 1 year ago, but I've known for nearly 3 years when dd had a reaction, but didn't try to learn anything until diagnosis, just avoided blatant nuts.
Just found out dd#2 is pa 2 months ago.
DH's sister is pa so he's more used to this even though she was never very careful.

DD was having symptoms while breastfeeding. Didn't know it was PA (and egg and milk and tree nut allergies) until she was 18 mos. She is now 7.
DS was diagnosed with egg and milk allergies at 6 mos. He is now 3 1/2.
DD outgrew egg and milk at age 3. DS outgrew milk at age 3.
