Well that explains that part. lol. Shows how much I don't know about her. Still, her answers are so short and flippant and darn sarcastic (will darn be censored? LOL).

just not compassion for 20 year-old, beautiful, blond, Miss Americas either, i guess. must offend her feminist sensibilities. honestly, i have no idea why people idolize this woman. donald trump had it right. she is nothing but a slob.

I concur. And a bitter one at that.

Because Donald Trump is a gem? Sorry, I have to agree with Rosie on this one. I know it's not a popular view, but I do like her. I just didn't care particularly for her comment about PA. Everyone is entitled to mistakes though (please don't read that as me not steaming anymore for the comment - she still has me on fire!)

no, morally, trump probably isn't a "gem", but that's why rosie's idiotic comments make NO sense. if donald trump had fired miss america and not given her a second chance, i could see rosie saying "who is he to judge", but he gave her a second chance, didn't judge (something a flaming liberal like rosie should LOVE). HER COMMENTS MAKE NO SENSE (gee, there's a surprise); she was just shooting off her nonsensical, foul mouth again.
p.s. as a saavy businessman creating tens of thousands of jobs, trump has probably done more good for this country and economy
than someone like rosie could ever hope to.

Just chiming in after only reading the first page of this thread, but thinking, "Peoople still watch The View???"
I saw a few shows while working out at the gym and was bored silly with the "fluffiness" of the show. I don't like, nor dislike, Rosie O'Donnell, but her comment was definitely ignorant. I like Barbara Walters, but IMO, being on The View was a few steps down for her.

Just to clarify...this was not Miss America...it is Miss USA. The difference being that Miss USA does not have the prestige as Miss America...it is known to be a little racier. Just a FYI.

I used to love Rosie, but it seems that near the end of her tv show and when all the stuff was going on with her magazine, she became a very nasty and angry individual.
Personally, I think that outright name calling by both her and Donald Trump are just mean spirited and shed a bad light on both parties.
As far as the comments about PA, I really didn't appreciate it. I get it that she is a comedian, but there are some topics that are inappropriate to make fun of. For example, would she make a joke about someone bound to a wheelchair and say something like, no big deal, she can walk...she just is too lazy or she's making her situation a bigger deal than it is? Or would she make fun of a cancer patient? No, most people understand these situations and would be mortified....the way we are when we hear jokes about PA.
I think that she is really pent up these days and is very dark and negative.
I have never watched the view, mostly because I didn't like Star Jones. I also don't really like the girlie pow wow thing.
I think that her time on the View will be short lived. She can't seem to shut her piehole....
