I finally found the Swirlwiches--well actually my sister found them for me. My Super Walmart does not carry them and has even stopped carrying the sorbet cups. BUT, the SuperWalmart just another 15 miles up the road (by my sister's house) has the Swirlwiches.
Looks like I won't have to make a supply of homemade ice cream for the summer months!
Also--I am in central Illinois so they are making their way west.
Would you mind posting the approximate area. I'm in Illinois, too and haven't been able to locate them. (I'm 30 miles straight west of Chicago)
e-mom,
I guess to you Chicagoland people, I live in southern Illinois.
The swirlwiches are available at the Super Walmart in Peoria, but not in East Peoria. If you have more than one SuperWalmart in your area, I would suggest calling them to see if a different one carries them.
If you still can't find them, e-mail me off the boards. I'm heading to the Southwest suburbs in mid-June. Maybe we can come up with a way to keep the ice cream from melting.
Still have had no luck finding them in So Cal.
