Annie\'s Homegrown Cheddar Bunnies

Hi! We use Annie's Mac & Cheese Products as they are safe for PA/TNA but the Cheddar Bunny Crackers are not safe - they are not made in the same facility as the Annie's Mac & Cheese and the facility that makes them (crackers) also makes other products with nuts on the same line as the crackers. This was as of September 2004.
The website for Annies Mac & Cheese and other products has a list of all the nut free products.

ARRGH!!! More company double speak.
When I called a few months ago I was told they were made in a facility that uses nut products, but not on the same equipment. [b]Which is it???[/b] (Note - this is a rhetorical rant, not directed at you!)

My wife called from the grocery this morning to tell me that Cheddar Bunnies, which our PA son has been eating for over a year, now has a new cross-contamination warning on the packaging.
And their [url="http://www.annies.com/products/Cheddarbunnies.html"]website[/url] contains the following notice:
"(Please note, peanut sensitive individuals should be aware that there is a risk for cross-contamination.)"

Yikes. My PA son was eating Cheddar Bunnies last month. I didn't get any more because I thought they had a greasy taste. I hope the rabbit shaped noodles are still safe.

All their pasta products except for the Tamarind tree are made in a separate facility that is nut free.
The crackers, and tamarind tree products are made in a facility with nuts. I don't think there are any dedicated lines.

The Bunny Crackers I have seen bear a warning. None of the Mac and Cheese products I see do, and I have called and ben told they do not share lines with the nut products. becca

For anyone dealing with egg allergies as well as pa, these are not safe.
