Ate at Chipotle Mexican Restaurant (Chain of Restaurants, owned by McDonalds) and had a great experience. Received an email from their customer service last week stating that a PN/TN allergic individual shouldn't have an issue dining there. Spoke with manager and they stated that there shouldn't be any issues. Checked ingredients too.

Great food: fast, easy and cheap! 1000% better than Taco Hell.

After reading all the above posts, we went to Chipotle tonight. I enjoyed it, but PA son (who is 5) wouldn't even try anything. @@ LOL. You do everything to eat out safely and then the kid won't touch a thing.

My kids like the quesadillas- they're not on the menu but they will make large or small ones for you.
Have now tried one in Rochester and Minneapolis- a great option when travelling.

Yes chipoltle is good eventhough I have no food allergies so to speak of I saw the menu and it looked safe. So I think you would be OK there. GOod luck.

Reraising. DS loves this place, and it's great for his vegetarian concern, as well as his PA concern.
I love the atmosphere.
They have info about celiac on their website--also info for vegetarians and vegans. But if you want FA info, you have to email them from their Speak area on their website. It's a very cool website.
I think *I* have had two reactions there, though. I've emailed them, and I await a response. My beef tonight tasted like shellfish. Seriously. And I have some GI symptoms and other symptoms like I do w/ shellfish reactions. Once before I had a reaction there, but I thought it was sesame.
If it turns out to be shellfish, I'll go for DS and only eat the guacamole--which is worth going for alone. Since it's safe for him, and he loves the place, I'll take him.
BTW--it was so cute. Before I went, he went with DH, and he asked the manager whether they cooked shellfish there to see if I could go there--to see if it were safe for me. I absolultely hate that I've had reactions there. And tonight he asked me, "You're not reacting are you?" It wasn't until after we left that I was, and I hated telling him. Oooh--time for more benadryl and to call DH home from a meeting to be here.
