Was your PA pregnancy induced?
(I have a feeling I have asked this before, but I did a search and I can't find it).
Mine was. The strange thing about it was that when I went to the hospital to be induced, I was already in labour and didn't know it.
I don't know what inducing drug was used though, although it was in some sort of gel form.
Best wishes!

perfect labor for us. Absolutley not one shot for me other than an IV that everyone must get I guess.
The DR. told us he wished everyone could have babies as well as us.
8 hours of labor but only the end was painful.
Chris was born right on his actual dodate.
Claire
Sort of. I was in labor but it was going fast enough so they gave me pitocin in the IV drip.

Yes. I had pre-eclampsia with extremely high blood pressure. Was put on bed rest only for 1 weekend. It didn't help and my blood pressure kept rising. So after checking blood pressure after bed rest they took me right then and there.
I remember when they were putting on the Pitocin they told me it would be a long time before he would arrive. LOL Yeah right!!
After a few hours, I kept telling the nurse that I was having pain. She kept telling me that I should only be experiencing pressure. I said no, it's PAIN! We kept going back and forth about 5 times when she finally gave up and got the doctor to check me. Low and behold I had zoomed to 10 cms dialated! They were shocked and very quickly out popped Ethan.

Hey,
I had pre-eclampsia too. They took a different route with me: emergency c-section. No drugs to induce. I was going to be a c-section anyway because 1 baby was breach.

no, thank god, it was hard and fast enough! my bag of waters didn't even burst until I started pushing. (I threw up into a bucket RIGHT when my bag of water exploded...everyone, including me, said "WHOA!" my husband later said "that was better than the Universal Studios Tour!"
