We're travelling next month to Cincinnati and Louisville for a few days. Any suggestions of where we can safely eat?

Anywhere we should avoid?

Hello, I live just north of Cincinnati and there are a few restaurants that my family feels safe dining at....LaRosa's pizza only has nuts on the dessert menu, the Applebee's around us use Canola oil (but I think you have to check store to store), there is an Irish Pub called Calladah's Irish Pub that last I checked only used soy bean oil, and my husband and I had a fun dinner at Bucca Di Beppo last weekend and when I emailed them about peanut products this is the email I got in return....."As far as your concern for our use of peanut oil, we use olive oil exclusively in our restaurants and the items that contain nuts would be the Spumoni, Cheesecake, and the Bella Festa desserts. When you are dining at our restaurant, please let the kitchen know of the allergy present and they will take additional care in the preparation of your meal(s). Thank you again for writing and we hope to see you back again soon Ciao!!!The Buca di Beppo Famiglia". We eat at Skyline and Gold Star Chili (the Chili is nut free) but some of them fry french fries etc. in peanut oil so watch out. I hope that gives you a few places to go.

We love The Melting Pot - it is a fondue restaurant - but I've not checked them for safety as my daughter is just now getting to be old enough to eat there. The Grand Finale is a wonderful restaurant - but again, I haven't checked them for safety. I have heard that the Bucca di Pepa (sp?) is very good. Hope you have a good trip!
