Safe Children\'s vitamins

We use Flintstone's. I'm sure that I called but I do not remember their response. [img]http://uumor.pair.com/nutalle2/peanutallergy/redface.gif[/img] Whatever it was, it made me comfortable. We have never had a problem.

We use the Flintstone Firsts (for 2-3 year olds) and haven't had any problems.

I have not used Flinstones, but called on them and the woman said she would not recommend them "if your child is that severely allergic" because they cannot guarentee the materials they get from outside vendors. I am not sure what exactly that means, but I decided not to use them. I called them probably within the past month or two.
I did call on Gerber's baby vitamins and they checked (and double checked) on any possible cross-contamination and they said they were safe. They are only good for up through age 3, though. That is what we are using for now.

We use Poly Vi Sol vitamins by Enfamil, Carson is only two. I didn't call, but we have never had a problem with them.

Yummi Bear vitamins are also safe, I'm told.

This is from a previous post, but maybe it will help. We still use the Vi-Daylin with no problems.
Abbott Laboratories - Ross Products Division manufactures "Vi-Daylin" lemon-orange flavored liquid multi-vitamins, product #3606-03 (16 oz) or #3606-02 (8 oz) and cherry chewable multi-vitamins w/iron, product #4519-3 or orange chewables #4520-13. All are PA safe and are made for children and adults. "Bethany and Melinda" in Ross' Consumer Relations 1-800-227-5767 conducted extensive research/inquiries for me and none of these products contain peanut or are manufactured in a plant w/ peanut. They cannot be ordered on-line, but may be found (usually special ordered, that's why I gave you the product numbers) in local pharmacies (i.e., not available in supermarket pharmacies or stores like Wal-Mart). BTW, the liquid is also available w/ iron (lemon-lime flavor) as #6992-03 (16 oz) and #6992-02 (8 oz). None of these vitamins contain aluminum (and for those of us who are vegetarians, the liquid contains 75% vitamin B-12 and does not contain any animal products). Also, Ross' "Pediasure" for children is PA safe and comes in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and banana cream flavors.

My peanut/tree-nut allergic child has used the Spring Valley Children's vitamins sold at Wal-Mart without any problems.

I just called about Poly Vi Sol and Enfamil told me that there are no peanuts/tree nuts in the vitamins. The only thing that could be allergenic is corn.

We also have used poly-visol for some time now and have had no problem.
