I finally found a small bakery that makes specialty breads! They used to make walnut bread, but after months of talking to them, they went nut-free as of this year! They also make gluten free breads, wheat-free breads, and rice bread! Very good for my allergic family. "MGM Bakery" located at, 734 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, Ontario has now gone nut-free. Their # is (905) 271-1861. Tell them Sandra sent you. I don't get a discount, but I did tell them if they went nut-free, they would get a lot of business from allergic people who really need a break. Sugar Chalet on Stevenson Road in Oshawa, Ontario will make nut free cakes. They even have a separate fridge for nut free cakes. If anyone needs the address and phone number let know.
The bakery that I posted is NOT not free.
I phoned them yesterday, and they said that they didn't get any business by being nut-free, so they went back to making walnut bread on occasion.
