Almost fatal reaction

Here's a story that demonstrates how important it is for people to be cautious when introducing peanuts into the diet of young children. Thank God there was a happy ending!

What a nightmare! I am so glad it was a happy ending. It was interesting to read they administered antihistamines rather than epinephrine. My ds's first reaction was treated at the er with antihistamines (3 years ago). We were sent home without an epi-pen and without a clue. We've learned a lot over the years, and alot from pa.com!
