Hi Everyone,
I will be in the US on holiday in a weeks time, staying in the Orlando Florida area.
As my daughter has PA, we are trying to find restaurants that we can trust.
I received a reasonable reply from Chuck-E-Cheese. It stressed no peanut ingredients in food except for vending machine supplied ice cream.
My question is - does anyone eat there ?
Anyone have an opinion on safety or had a reaction there ?
Thanks again for all your help
Paul
Chuck-E-Cheese Email:
"To answer your questions,
Please understand that our food products contain no peanut oils or nut oils or their bi-products. Below I have listed the ingredients you requested for the some items to help show that we have successfully eliminated nut products from our pizza, and appetizers, and birthday cakes and also to alert you to which items contain eggs or egg bi-products. The pizza dough does NOT contain eggs or their bi-products, and that is consistent for all of our locations. There are two items that contain peanuts and/or nuts and they are self contained, single-serve, novelty ice creams. These items are located in our Ice Cream Vending Machine, the "Champ Cone" & the "Big Mississippi Mud". Now with the egg allergy, please steer clear of our birthday cakes, and our pasta salads (located on our salad bar), and our cheese sticks appetizer, and our dessert brownies and cookies. I hope I have answered all your needs, and please contact me with any further questions.

NB: If anyone wants a copy of the full ingredient list they sent me, please let me know

We live in upstate NY and my daughter with PA has been there many times, and has even had her own party there. I allow her to have the pizza and the cake. I am very comfortable with the one here.

Both of my children are allergic to peanuts and we have gone many times with no problems. Go and enjoy!!
I'll throw in my THIRD here! I absolutely abhor the place myself (too much sensory input), but my kids love it and have never, ever had a reaction of any kind.
Enjoy!

We avoid Chucke Cheese because I heard from someone that they use peanut flour in their pizza...based on what was sent from the company, things have changed...we steer clear of the place.
We've been there and didn't have any problems. The pizza is safe, but isn't the best in the world (totally greasy), but it's a fun place for a kid to unwind and have fun! Hope you go there and enjoy it!
Take Care,
Amy
If you look on their website under nutritional info, at the very bottom in very small print you can see where they state no pnuts/nuts are used in their products with the exception to the vending machine and that lists the products that has pnuts in it.
HTH,
Lana
We are actually going there tomorrow for a birthday party. My PA son has been several times, and we have never had a problem. I also have been told the same information here. Go, have fun, and other than the one response here, everyone else feels it is safe. I have found that at times on this site, even though I love this site, there is always going to be someone who has a problem with something we all trust.
Hi all- I hope things have changed! We went to the Chuckie Cheese in Rochester NY last June and the cook came out to tell me they use peanut oil in the pizza sauce.
They just opened one up in my town and I will have to check them out.
