My PA/TN son (now almost 3) had white spots on his shins last summer. My Ped. said it was from a fungus. (???) He told me to put Lotrimin, an anti-fungal cream, on his legs every day for 2 weeks (if I'm remembering correctly). I didn't do it that much though, b/c I wasn't convinced it wasn't from the eczema. Needless to say, I only put it on his legs a few times, the spots eventually faded, and he doesn't have any this summer.
