Just A Warning...Yesterday we ate at Chili's (I consider it safe for my PA son...as long as he sticks to the basics on the kids menu).
I took most of my fries home for a snack later and ate one with a part of a peanut fried onto it!!!!
My son loves Chili's....usually he has fries and chiken fingers.....thankfully he had the pizza today instead!

Good God, they're everywhere!!!!

Did you contact the corporate office and complain?

I'm sure this was just an isolated incident...I have eaten at many Chili's restaurants in different parts of the country and I have never encountered a problem. Actually, one of my favorite restaurant stories is when I first went to Chili's with my family somewhere in Georgia, we sat down and asked the waiter if they use peanut oil in the kitchen. We were right next to the kitchen and a minute after the waiter went back we heard someone yell "PEANUT OIL?! Do you know how EXPENSIVE that stuff is?!" We all got a good laugh.
It sounds like someone in the kitchen was doing something he or she wasn't supposed to be doing because I can't think of a reason why there would be peanuts near the fryer. Calling the corporate office is definitely a good idea.
