My son Drew has both.
Right now his eczema is doing GREAT [img]http://uumor.pair.com/nutalle2/peanutallergy/smile.gif[/img] (knock on wood). His body is about 98% clear. He still gets a patch here and there, but is no longer like he was when he was little with about 85% of his body covered.
His asthma flares up when the weather changes. After a day or two on the nebulizer he is usually ok.

My daughter is only PA as far as I know, but she never had eczema. She has reactive airways, which I'm not sure exactly the difference between reactive airways and asthma.
I only have a peanut allergy (no tree nut allergy).
I also do not have asthma and do not have eczema. So I am lucky.
Vince's PA was first observed as eczema.
My own PA is exhibited as eczema (I'm not anaphylactic like Vince).
I have asthma and eczema. Both were very bad as a child, but the asthma is completely under control now, and although I still get the odd patch of eczema, it's cleared up on the original bad spots.
My son outgrew his eczema at 2 and found out about the allergy at almost 3. Never had peanut to cause the eczema either. No asthma....knock on wood.
He has just recently broke out on his hands, so I don't know what that's all about. It really makes you wonder though especially after not having a speck of it for 2 years.
My daughter has excema that has almost totally cleared up since we found out about the peanut allergy. So far no asthma symptoms.
Liane I have a couple of questions for you since my daughter so far only exhibits excema as a reaction. Has that always been your only type of reaction? Has it gotten worse as you have gotten older? Have you had many cross contamination reactions? Do you carry an epi-pen for yourself? I am just curious since so many on this board suffer much more serious reactions than my daughter ever has.
