Ryan's Mom, I wrote to Mrs. Paul's at the address you provided--the letter was returned with a new address so I wrote to that one and finally, here's the info I received.
First the letter I sent:
My 4-year-old son has a severe peanut allergy and is required to stay away from
all tree nuts. In the past, he enjoyed Mrs. Paul's Fish Sticks. However, I noticed
that Mrs. Paul's now has shrimp with peanuts. This concerns me.
Could you please advise if the fish sticks (or any product) are produced in a
totally peanut-free and/or nut-free facility? Or, if not in a totally peanut-free and/or nut-free facility, if the fish sticks (or any product) is produced on a dedicated peanut-free and/or nut-free line?

Mrs. Paul's Fish Sticks and Fillets and the Mrs. Paul's Bowls are manufactured at a two different locations. Therefore, there is no possibility of cross contamination.

This thread was quite amusing to me, since I was cleaning out my freezer yesterday and pulled out an ANCIENT box of Mrs. Paul's Fish Sticks. Like I said in a previous posting, Ryan ate enough to last a lifetime a while back. Perhaps another fish stick phase is not far off since no one has asked for them in quite a while. I'm glad you got a postive response and they still appear to be safe.
I just called about the Van de Kamps fish sticks and was told that they are made in a plant in Erie, PA which is peanut and tree nut free.
I called Gorton's today and I was told that all major allergens will be labeled if they are included. Also, she told me that they have a nut/peanut free facility so that I should consider the fish sticks safe.
I noticed that this thread has been very old. Has anyone called Gorton's recently? Any information on shared equipement with shell fish?

I called Gorton this morning. I was told they label cross contianmenion for the common allergen. Right now there is no products containing tree nuts/peanuts.
