Does anyone know of any bar or liquid bath and hand soaps that do not contain nut or coconut derived ingredients. We thought looking for peanut/ nut/ coconut free food was at times a challenge, it is nothing compared to finding a soap without coconut byproducts! Please help!!

Dana, funny that you mentioned it!!!!
I just logged on to let people know about www.herbalescapesbyerin.com. Erin is a work-at-home mom who makes soaps and does not use any peanut products or peanut oils at all!
Check out her website. I am hoping my husband signs me up for the soap of the month club for Christmas.
I went on to the website and I was happy to see that no peanuts or peanut oils are used. When I went onto the "faqs" section Shea butter was mentioned as an ingredient. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I remember reading on the boards to stay away from Shea butter (it is from a tree nut).
Please let me know if I'm wrong about the Shea butter.
I jumped to the website with the peanut free soaps, seeing that almond is used. I am so frusterated by the increased use of almond in soaps and shampoos, cosmetics, etc. Don't people realize that almond is a tree nut and that tree nut allergies are just as severe as peanut allergies?
I have used bath bubbles and baby wash from a company called babyspa. Their web site is www.babyspa.com They use no nuts in their products. I am not 100% sure about the coconut, but they do list the ingredients on their web site. I have been very happy with their products.
We use Ivory Soap.
Thank you for the replies. I just wanted to let you know about Ivory
Did any of you email Erin to ask her if she has any soaps w/o your allergens? She hand-makes the soaps, so I don't know why she wouldn't be able to accomodate you. It is worth asking!!!!!
Dana - Have you tried calling on dial or soft soap (liquid versions). I checked my ingredients and do not find any allergens listed. I have not called them, though.
No I haven
I am reposting this information from another thread...
I also wrote to Neutrogena. They have a product that is fragrance free called Rainbath Shower & Bath Gel that can be used to wash hair.
Has anyone tried this? You can order this product at www.walgreens.com I have never seen in Walgreens here in Des Moines.
