I honestly do not worry about butter too much. I will buy what is on sale unless I see Cabot. Cabot is definately nut free, and a smaller dairy with good quality products. I just prefer it all around. But we have alwyas been fine with any butter I buy.
If that helps you, Adele(or anyone).

Our butter products do not contain any nuts, wheat or gluten. Our natural flavors comes from skim milk...starter distillate and lactic acid.

I've never ever worried about butter - I just buy what's on sale unless I am baking and then I use Cabot's or Challenge.
