My brother wants a green bean caserole for Christmas dinner so I'm checking the manufacturers of the ingredients for peanut/tree nut ingredients/cross contamination. I just called Reckitt Benckiser who makes the onions and they told me their product is safe. The number is (800) 841-1256 in case anyone else wants to check too.

Now on to the soup...

I received the same info from them. They said that all of their products were peanut and nut free. We have eaten the potato sticks frequently without a problem.

Although the Fried Onions are apparently nut free (we've been using them for years) all of French's products are not since I got this in an email from Tones, who makes French's spices (may be a different company but same name and logo so there might be confusion):
These products contain peanut oil:
French's/Durkee Homestyle Gravy Mix
French's/Durkee Pork Gravy
