pFox news in DFW just had a segment on peanut allergy. They interviewed a military guy who has had anaphylactic reactions and who is participating in the anti-IGE study. They started the piece by saying "even airborne particles can cause a reaction". They also interviewed a pediatric allergist who said the studies are hopeful. /p
pI am pleased to see such a well done (albeit short) piece getting our info out. Another local station aired the breastfeeding/PA link story but really said nothing about the allergy itself. I am so grateful to the media for helping increase awareness./p
pIf I find the story on the web, I'll try to post it here. As of right now, it's not there yet./p
