tidina, at any point, with any of your questions, you can tell me NOT to answer you because I'm never much help. I have never called regarding a yoghurt and I have never had any problems with any. My son is PA only.

I prefer Astro yoghurt (oh, again, I'm Canadian). We have used Dannon and probably tried an assortment of other kinds without difficulty.

I guess what I'm asking you is if you want me to answer if though I rarely check with manufacturers or if you would prefer answers from people that have checked with the manufacturer?

It's all good, either way.

oh i dont care either way. i enjoy reading your posts. i think ill try columbo anyway.

We've used Tillamook and Nancy's which are both NW regional brands, I think. So this may not help much. Sorry. Haven't even used either of those since Oct 05 when DD redeveloped (??) dairy allergy.

We've also used Lucerne (Safeway store brand) successfully, but infrequently.

We only had one problem with a yogurt ever. And that was Kemp's strawberry about five years ago in MN. That could have been anything, too, not necessarily PA. We actually suspected egg, but it could have been soy or wheat.

My PA DS eats Dannon plain yogurt all the time and has never had a problem with it. He is soy allergic also. Frankly, it never occured to me to suspect anything about it! My kids have all had yoplait also.

We currently use the yopliat with the red label. I have used Columbo, and I don't even think they make anything but yogurt, but I could be wrong.

We use Gogurt(a yoplait product), and sometimes danimals and Trix, but never with any mixins in the package. Sometimes Danimald yougurt drinks. I will allow my dd pretty much anything yogurt since she hates drinking milk.

We have never had a problem with any.becca

becca, you remembered a few things my children have tried that I forgot. Mine have also tried YOP which I'm not even sure who it is made by - it's a drinkable yoghurt; and basically all of the other things that you have mentioned as well, becca.

But again, tidina, I have never called re any of these.

You know I might if it was Breyer's.

We have used all of the above and our favorite is Stoneyfield Farms. It has the most natural of ingredients and tastes good. Kind of pricey so we only buy it when it is on sale. They also have a drinkable yogurt. I'm in the USA (boston area) and the best prices for Stoneyfield is Market Basket.

i use to give my son stoneyfield when he was a baby. i thought i read something on here that was negative about it. glad to hear people still use it.

I'm PA/TN & I eat the low-fat Vanilla Yoplait type

I use Horizon brand because it doesn't contain corn syrup, my dd has a sensitivity to corn. She is also allergic/intolerant to soy, I haven't seen any reactions from it related to soy. Hope this helps.

Watch out for yogurt if you travel. There are warnings on Yoplait yogurt in the UK and other brands of yogurt.

I agree with Cindy.. Astro yogurt is the best!!! I love it. I have never called the manufacturer however.

ive never seen astro, probly another canadian thing that you guys are lucky with. we are sticking with yoplait, the whips and custard style are the best and my son doesnt scratch his neck after he eats them.
