I just got home from the cross country race and Bryson placed 16TH!!!!!!
Out of a possible 200. This is huge!Especially since the anaphalaxis induced by the traing for this race only happened 2 weeks ago! This is absolutely fantastic!
I was standing 3/4 od the way through the 1.5 klm run and ran the rest beside him (actually had other parents cheering me! whether or not they were teasing me I didn't care) I couldn't help myself I would have skipped through it with pure joy! I always say I won't run beside beside him but..... I always do!
Bryson says he doesn't want me too but I think he does. Plus I can't help it! Today was a bit different though b/c when he saw me he panicked alitte and started to (tried to) cry.So I started to run with him. Last year I lost 11lbs running with him.I won't run with him on Thursday,I promise.
All week-end I was sh**in' bricks over this race and it's over with and he's fine!
Not only is he fine but,he placed 16th.
I am amazed by my child. I am bragging yes I am! He is so awesome. Not the fad word awesome either I mean really truelly AWE-some! Jaw on the ground awesome.
I will be posting again on Thursday night the results of that race. I hope to be back to brag somemore:P
SMACK: you are in the same city as me and if you are hard up for amusement,I will be at Gibbons Park on thursday come see me (not)run.

Well, sadly Bryson won't be racing tonight
He was home from school today with asthma.
Nothing major, just alittle wheeze, taken care of by ventolin. His peak flow meter reading came in,the red before the ventolin and yellow after.
Dissapoinitng, for him.He still wanted to go but it exceeds my comfort level. There is another race on Monday and I hope he can make it to that as it is the qualifying race for the finals.
Please include him in your prayers.
