As promised (from a previous post), here's the recipe for YAM FRENCH FRIES, which my 14 month old son loves. I altered this recipe by mixing the cumin in with the oil beforehand (instead of sprinkling on top of the fries as the recipe indicates) -- was easier to do it this way to get the cumin spread out better.

Thanks Tracy, this sounds great! When Charles was allergic to wheat and egg (a few years ago) I used to make cookies with yams, marshmallows, and rice krispies...at least he thought they were cookies and his sisters liked them too. I'll try your fries tonight!
