Betty Crocker is a division of General Mills. I feel very comfortable with their labeling practices. If it doesn't have a warning I consider it safe. We've never had the fruit snacks, but if they look safe, I would feel fine with them.

My PA daughter has been eating the pooh fruit snacks all the time for over a year and has never had a problem with them. I am very comfortable with Generanl Mills products and their labelling.

DD loves their other fruit snacks (fruit by the foot) and we've never had any problems.
I love you, Betty Crocker.

My daughter was diagnosed with a PA about 2.5 yrs ago, and also has an allergy to all tree nuts. She eats the Pooh snacks as well as the Princess snacks and Buzz LIghtyear snacks(all from Betty Crocker). Just so you know, I use Pillsbury cake mixes to make her cupcakes for preschool and have never had a problem.

I wanted to write again after reading many messages about Pillsbury products. I was not aware that many of their products could be cross contaminated. I think we may start buying another type of cake mix and cookie mix in the future.

I just bought Betty crocker Fruit by the foot from Costco that came in a box of 36, 3 different flavours.
Now they are made with real fruit and low in fat but the ingredients list
However, I was thinking of things to stuff in a pinata, so I bought them.
Well I told them in the car when I picked them up from school that I bought fruit roll ups (they had them one time at sister's).
They screamed.
So needless to say when they started eating them, first I was stunned and kind of mesmerized watching them, then I grabbed my video camera when they had about the last 2 inches left of the foot fruity thing OMG...it was hilarious!
Anyway, this is something I'll save for entertainment purposes and a guaranteed quiet 5 minutes

Thanks so much for the reply. I just want to clarify something in your message.
You wrote
"Now they are made with real fruit and low in fat but the ingredients list" and that is all I say. Did you mean to write something after that?

LaurieK,
No, I didn't mean to write something after that. The reason I put the "eek" face was because the ingredients lists are long and full of additives, sugar, and basically junk!
You wrote your child eats them on occasion, same deal for my guys!
Have a great day!

HEY! Let me tell you....Winnie Pooh snacks have been a winner in our home. Our Pa/Tna son has NEVER had a problem once with them. I have talked with many other very cautious mommys with Pa/Tna children in my area and they said GO FOR IT too!
Indulge....our problem is that everyone in the house loves them so we can't keep enough of them in stock! ---momomom
