I am trying to decide which to go with..I know some will say Medic Alert is the only way to go, but I am not goin that route..SO, if anyone has tried Nstyle's wristbands for kids, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them. I am looking at the sport bands, but also liked the other options they showed..Also, what does yours say? I think I'll need to get the choice of 18 lines, due to our long name! Your help is appreciated!

I order my child's silver slide with them and have placed it on a Timex kids elastic watch band (stretchy) with the watch removed- he prefers this texture and he has a sports ball band one. ( 5 y.o.)

I too use the silver slide with DD and put it on one of their jelly watchband-style bands. There are no worries about it getting it wet and DD can swap out the band when she wants.

We too opted to get a bracelet from another source than medic alert. My PA DS got an awesome bracelet from www.laurenshope.com .
We will be ordering him another one from there. The current one has lasted almost a year now and looks a little worn but still very, very readable. They also worked with me on the wording. We wanted more than what they said they had space for and they accomocated without hesitation.

We had the nstyle one as dds first bracelet. It was fine. DD liked it that she could change the bands, but I was disappointed in how easily it scratched to being unreadable. DD was 3 and liked to rub it on everything to hear the noise it made, but it didn't last a year in a readable state. I didn't buy another one. I tried another company -- can't remember now who -- and that bracelet lasted just a couple of months before it was destroyed. I was REALLY disappointed in it.
Then, we found a brochure at our drs office from a company AMerican MEdical ID. Once you buy 1 bracelet, in the same order, you can get another one for $9.99. I think we got 2 extras. We really like these a lot and they offer a guarantee for your engraving for if it changes within a year, I think.
Anyway, this got long, but I'm tired of throwing money at bracelets that stink!
