To (edited)- Heck yeah, I know where County Market is! My family still lives in that area so we travel up that way all the time. My brother has lived in Scottdale for several years now and is a volunteer firefighter there.
Every time we visit I get to see all my old high school friends that all talk just like me. My DH just loves that! I tell him all the time that I can't help it...I'm from south western Pennsylvania and that's how we talk!
Too funny!!!

Smudge,
It depends on what you want to do.
If you're into swimming/water parks, there's Great Wolf Lodge with it's Indoor Water Park. Honeymoon type of stuff, well, I always wanted to stay at a Caesar's Resort but maybe that's kind of cheesey. There are two B&B's that are relatively close to me that I always thought might seem nice to stay in. Or there's Stroudsmoor Country Inn with it's great Italian feasts and Sunday Champagne Brunches. Some people like Shawnee Inn, and I think the Shawnee Hot Air Balloon Festival is that weekend. If you love shopping, Great Wolf Lodge would be nice because it's right down the street from the Crossings outlet complex. Be sure to go very early though, or you will never get a parking spot. Locals don't go at peak times.
So it really depends on what you want to do. I've never stayed at any of those places though. And it sure is going to be crowded in the Poconos that weekend (typical holiday) so allow mucho time for traffic jams.

Beth, your DH graduated from Fairmont? Small world!
My family moved when I was a young child so your DH probably doesn't know me. However, my mother graduated from FHS in 1957. (I won't post her maiden name after all the talk about privacy issues!)
One sad note - someone in her class was on the bridge in Minneapolis. The man, wife and two kids were seriously injured (the wife had to have a lobotomy). Just in time for the 50 year reunion in September.

I think that it would have been better to possibly ask chris to forward an email to her rather than pointing out to people how they could gather more info by doing an email google or yahoo search...
